The Setup Roles panel allows to define various limited admin roles, not to be confounded with the Restricted Admin scenario. The various settings are organized into functional groups, the naming convention self explanatory. The last item in each block toggles all the settings above it granting the full roles set, no separate explanation for each of these, for brevity. If none of the checkboxes are marked in one of these sections, the limited admin will not see that specific page in the admin webinterface at all.
User
- View only or full admin access to User Manager.
- Allow viewing list of job configurations
- view only access to the Job page, Available jobs list.
- Allow viewing list of previously run jobs
- view only access to the Active jobs list.
- Allow viewing job configurations
- view only access to individual Jobs' Designer panel.
- Allow monitoring jobs
- required by the Job Monitoring use case.
- Allow running jobs
- allows execution of all jobs, or execution of specific jobs in the Job Monitoring use case.
- Allow viewing, running, end editing of jobs
- full fledged jobadmin rights. Requires the Allow viewing of server files, including the server log, job logs, and any other file on the server... permission below, or the limited admin to have it's VFS pointed to the top level directory jobs operate on.
